If you could do anything you want today, what would you do?

If you had no responsibilities. If you had no deadlines.

If you had nothing to do on your calendar today what would you do?

Would you read?

Would you watch your favorite program?

Would you spend time with loved ones?

Would you try a new restaurant?

Would you take a nap?

How would you spend your free day?

It’s hard to imagine because like most people, your day is consumed with very little down time. There’s always things to do at work. There’s always things to do at home.

But give it a try. What would your free day look like? Jot down how you would spend your day. There’s no wrong answer. There’s no right answer. This exercise is completely for you.

The things you would do become a list of things you find joyful. Things that make you happy.

From this list, can you add one of those items to your daily routine? Or even your weekly routine?

Challenge yourself to figure out what makes you smile – what gives you joy. Turn your regular day into an ideal day by adding something you enjoy doing to your routine. It’ll transform your day.
