Linear career progression is harder to find – allow yourself to explore different opportunities to expand your knowledge and expertise.

If you work all the time but find yourself not productive, take time off weekly to re-charge – start by taking an afternoon off then build up to taking an entire day off.

You never know where your next client or job opportunity will come from – treat everyone with respect.

If you’re going through a divorce later in life, pay attention to how much you have in retirement savings – if you need more money, consider a second job – it may not be ideal but will help you save more for retirement.
