One of the 5 P’s of Life is “Personal Relationships” – your relationship with others, including your spouse, significant other, parents, other family members, and friends. To build and strengthen these relationships it’s important to dedicate time to them – no matter how busy life becomes for you.

Below are personal relationship tips we tweeted last month on Twitter. Please share these tips with your loved ones.

Take time to show your aging relative how to use their smartphone – show them how to magnify text, access Skype or Facetime, track fitness, and other helpful apps they may enjoy.

Step outside your comfort zone and attend weddings solo after your divorce – it’ll give you a chance to reconnect with family and friends without having to worry about entertaining a date.

Don’t be let down by your summer vacation – manage your expectations by focusing on the memorable experience with loved ones instead of trying to make it “perfect.”

Build your sense of purpose in retirement by strengthening your relationships with family and friends.
